The Little Adventurers will learn more about how fruit and vegetables are grown. Using our Adventurer Allotment Kits we will plant sunflower seeds and keep track of their height in future sessions – the tallest of the group will win a prize. We will also plant pumpkins to be grown in time for Halloween.

For some extra fun we will be holding an Adventurer Fruit & Veg swap. Please bring along a piece of fruit or veg; the more unusual the better and we will swap our items during the session. This offers a great opportunity for our Adventurers to try and taste something different so please don’t be afraid to be as imaginative as possible!

We meet at Roman Grove Allotments, Portchester at 10:00am; please feel free to bring children’s gardening tools if you own them. Please wear, or bring along, appropriate clothing should there be any rain and the ground be muddy.
